I am the token basic bitch of fall. I love the smell of the crisp morning air, I love the way Sundays feel during football season, I love candles that smell like a plethora of Thanksgiving pies just exploded all over my house . I love anything Halloween related and haunted stuff is seriously my jam. This year I decided to get a little crafty last weekend when I was inspired by the pumpkin patch right next door to my house. The suburbs get yet another brownie point. I dragged poor Matt through the pumpkin patch dubbing him as my pumpkin carrier/transporter then made my way over to the craft store for some metallic acrylic paints and got down to business. I am pretty proud of the outcome, considering it was a first attempt and a random Sunday afternoon project. Another plus to this method of pumpkin decorating, it is A LOT less messy and easier than carving. Let's be real, carving was not going to happen with two little pups parading throughout the house.
UPDATE: Can it get anymore basic? I'm finishing up this blog post while eating pumpkin spice popcorn. WHO KNEW that shit existed?!
